From the 7th to the 29th of June 2008, exclusively
for EURO 2008, a UBS
Arena will be set up in Lausanne. For a moderate
fee, fans can experience the championship meets live, on giant
screens. With a seating capacity of 1'200 and 9'000 standing
spectators, the Lausanne Arena will be the biggest in Switzerland.
The City of Lausanne will likewise set up
a huge enclosure accommodating upto 15'000 visitors. Shops,
stands, stalls, bars, restaurants, a spectrum of entertainment
guaranteed to liven up the scene right through the event.
Montreux-Vevey will also get in tune with EURO
2008. In Vevey, football fans will be accom-modated in a stadium
of 4000 along the shores of the Geneva Lake and in case of bad
weather, in a hall of upto 2000. The top clashes between the
best European teams will be broadcasted free on 20-square-meter
giant screens. Thanks to outstanding train and motorway connections,
guests at the Swiss Riviera are spoilt for choice between a
great many internationally renowned resorts. Gooal!

Should you require a space big enough for your
event The
Olympic Stadium Pontaise, is the ideal spot for concerts
or sport events- having successfully staged no less than U2,
Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones. The international sports
meet Athletissima,
takes place here every year (next edition on September 02nd
2008). Open all year round, the stadium restaurant, seating
10 to 200 guests, accommodates groups and provides a soundproof
conference hall of 35.
