JazzOnze+ Festival Lausanne
The programme will feature some big names in jazz, up-and-coming talents and an eclectic selection from the current Swiss scene.
An eclectic programme
- Featuring big names in jazz such as Gary Peacock, David Sanborn, Dave Holland, Dhafer Youssef and John Scofield.
- But also presenting some of the new generation of musicians, such as Christian McBride, Lionel Loueke, Aaron Parks and Ben Williams
- And not forgetting the Swiss artists who will be illuminating the first part of the evening shows: Florian Favre Trio, Rosset-Meyer-Geiger, Julian Sartorius and Amine & Hamza.
Evenings at EspaceJazz
There is always room for a mix of jazz and new trends at EspaceJazz. Concerts will commence at 9pm. On Thursday 3 November jazz meets hip-hop with Marcus Strickland’s Twi-Life and Terrace Martin. Friday 4 November will see the Congolese soul of Alina Amuri give way to the New Orleans funk of the Hot 8 Brass Band. Saturday 5 November will feature electro in soul style with Pablo Nouvelle and rock with The Comet is Coming. The Friday and Saturday evenings will be close with DJ sets.
