The discoveries of X-rays and radioactivity at the turn of the 20^th century turned the world of mankind upside down and changed the way we look at ourselves.  Through the medium of original and offbeat works by contemporary visual artists Piet.sO and Peter Keene, the exhibition retraces the defining moments in the history of X-rays, radioactivity and radioprotection.

A production by the Pavilion of Science of Franche-Comté in partnership with the Communauté d’Agglomération du Pays de Montbéliard and the Institute of Radioprotection and Nuclear Safety   (IRSN-France).

An exhibition presented by the Claude Verdan Foundation in partnership with the HECVSanté and the CHUV.

From 13 January 2010 to 27 February 2010 you can also visit the Radiation and Medicine exhibition in the entrance hall of the CHUV, where you will learn more about the medical applications of radiation.
