From Wednesday 10 to Sunday 14 FebruaryA creative recycling experienceWorkshop led by Jan Korbes and Denis Oudendijk, architects specialised in recycling. On the programme – joint creation of works inspired by sport and made from salvaged material. An artistic approach reflecting one of the major objectives of the Vancouver Games: preserving the environment. After the workshops, the works will be exhibited and judged by the general public. In our consumer society, it’s good to remember that we can create new things from the things we throw away. Dutch architects Jan Korbes and Denis Oudendijk explore the possibilities provided by recycling. There are many examples of furniture or architectural elements that they have created from recycled products. At this event, they explain what they do and reply to questions from the general public.
