For many years the City of Lausanne has pursued an attractive pricing policy so that people can enjoy ice-skating rinks during the winter season.
The ice rinks are open on the following dates:
Montchoisi ice rink:
From Saturday October 15th 2011 to Sunday March 11th 2012. Annual closure on December 25th 2011 and January 1st 2012. The rink is open to the public every morning and afternoon. Please consult the page dedicated to Montchoisi ice rink for detailed schedules. Skate hire possible on the premises.
La Pontaise ice rink:
From Saturday October 15th 2011 to Sunday March 11th 2012. Annual closure on December 25th 2011 and January 1st and 2nd 2012. The rink is open to the public every morning and afternoon. Please consult the page dedicated to La Pontaise ice rink for detailed schedules. No skate hire on the premises.
Seasonal subscriptions are available from the start of the season and valid in both Lausanne ice rinks, i.e. Montchoisi and La Pontaise.
The price for adults is CHF 160, for apprentices and students CHF 100 (valid card requested on purchase) and for children from 6 to 16 years just CHF 80. These subscriptions are valid until 13 March 2011.
The subscriptions offer is complemented by two subscriber cards:
- CHF 20 to the value of CHF 25
- CHF 40 to the value of CHF 50
