Thanks to the City of Lausanne, wireless internet access is now available in the city center and by the lake.

In fact, seven wi-fi access points have been put in place in the city's main squares - Flon, Palud, Riponne, St-François, Montbenon, Navigation, Port, Service des automobiles and aéroport de la Blécherette - allowing residents and visitors of Lausanne to have access to internet free of charge.

All you need is a laptop equipped with a wireless network card to take advantage of this new, set up by the multimedia department, and profiting from the City's network infrastructure.

To ensure the protection of minors, an internet filter blocking sites with inappropriate content (adult, violence, drugs, inciting racial hatred) has been activated in accordance with moral and sensitivity considerations.
