Lausanne is the smallest of the four large Swiss cities and is easily reached from anywhere. It is close to numerous top tourist destinations, such as Montreux with its casino and the Chillon Castle, Zermatt and its Matterhorn, the Jungfrau, Lucerne, the historic city of Gruyères, the Glacier 3000 and the Vaud Alps and the French resort of Evian.
