Located a dozen kilometres from Lausanne, in a pretty country village, Moulin de Cugy is a unique place dedicated to gourmets and creative pleasures. This tastefully renovated building allows you to have a drink and snack, buy terroir products and even visit an art gallery and organise private events.
Moulin de Cugy is a former mill that has been completely renovated by preserving the original spirit. A baker and confectioner, two restaurants, a butcher-caterer and a conference centre make up this complex dedicated to authentic and original top-quality products.
The Resto du Moulin is certified by Vaud Wine Tourism and holds the label “home made”. The cuisine is simple but inventive, with brasserie food alongside tartars and terroir hamburgers. As its name says, the “Cavo à Fondues” features cheese meals. The Glareyarde (spicy meat) fondue completes the menu card.
The two caves of the Moulin total more than 160 references, including many Vaudois wines. Following an original concept, customers pour themselves their own glass of wine in the cellar.
An art gallery and several meeting rooms welcome groups for private events, with up to 100 participants.
