Lausanne Business Valley

27 October 2014

The Lausanne Business Valley showcases its assets in a new clip.

After the success of the «Lausanne Interactive City Tour», Lausanne Tourisme is launching a new video presenting the town's many business tourism attractions. Called «Lausanne Business Valley», this approximately 2-minute clip aims mainly at seducing organisers of seminars, conventions and other professional events.

Few words and a sequence of stunning images on a background of inspiring music. This is how Lausanne, business and convention city, represents itself in the new clip designed by Lausanne Tourisme and directed by the fledgling Lausanne film production company Messieurs.ch.

A choice destination for business

In this clip, Lausanne is described as an easily accessible town with modern infrastructures and an array of high-quality hotels and restaurants, meeting all of Switzerland's fine quality standards.

The clip commends the city's unique Olympic Capital title, its tradition of hospitality, multiculturalism, economic dynamism due in part to the presence of many multinational firms, its innovation capacity linked to the universities and research centres, its state-of-the-art conference venues and convention centres. Besides, the SwissTech Convention Centre, established at the heart of the university campus, features in key position, as does the distinguished Beaulieu Lausanne's Convention Centre (MCH). The recently renovated Olympic Museum is also showcased.

This video informs business tourists that they will benefit from free public transports thanks to the Lausanne Transport Card. During their stay, they can profit from a broad choice of sports and culture activities, not to mention the many possibilities of excursions, whether on Lake Geneva on board a Belle Epoque ship, in the heart of the Lavaux vineyards – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – or in the Alpine resorts located less than an hour's drive away. In short, a second home for all business visitors who come.

Broadcasting on social networks and other media

The «Lausanne Business Valley» clip is distributed widely on social networks, and on the websites of Lausanne Tourisme and its partners in Switzerland and abroad. It will also be published in various newsletters and on some mobile applications. It will serve as a promotional tool during professional events, as well as international trade shows and conventions.
