La Grenette in downtown Lausanne recreates the atmosphere of some of the trendiest terraces in Berlin.
Its name “La Grenette” comes from the wheat granary originally in place here. It was later converted into an open-air market, which no longer exists. This section of Place de la Riponne has always been a general meeting point. This social aim is continued through a rich cultural programme and a day-care centre that welcomes children aged 3 to 12.
The restaurant offers La Nébuleuse craft beers and Soulberry syrups, Korean-style tacos and Bibimbap. Enough to fill your stomach and continue your discussions until closing time.
