Caves ouvertes à la carte – Pass

This fall make an appointment with your winemaker!

Strongly tested by the coronavirus crisis, the wine-growing economy has to show imagination to maintain its efforts to promote its products and thus make Vaud wines known. In this context, the Caves Ouvertes Vaudoises, always highly appreciated by the public for their warmth and friendliness, are a cardinal promotional tool for the industry. Equipped with their sesame glass, the fine palates like to meet the winemakers, listen to their explanations and taste their latest vintages.

To respect security measures, the OVV has set up a digital platform, in partnership with the Vaudois Tourist Office, which allows you to register with the winegrowers and make appointments in their cellars. This will help to keep the number of visitors to the wineries to a minimum, in line with health requirements, without affecting the essential promotional objective of the Caves Ouvertes Vaudoises.

This new type of experience, dictated by circumstances that everyone deplores, will extend to all the wine-producing regions of the canton, from La Côte to Bonvillars, from the Côtes de l'Orbe to the Chablais, and from Vully to Lavaux. With the strong hope that after having dried out their cellars during the confinement, lovers of good wines will be delighted to come and fill them up again.

Offer valid from 01 October 2020 to 31 August 2021

How it works

I buy the box with the traditional tasting glass that opens the doors of 180 wine cellars in the canton.
I book the dates for my visits online.
On the agreed day, I spend a pleasant hour with my winegrower tasting his wines.
