Pop in the city returns to Switzerland Lausanne - 29 June
Lausanne, January 28, 2019
Pop In the City, the 100% female urban race
For this 26th edition of Pop In the City, Popins will once again storm beautiful Switzerland. After Geneva, this time, hundreds of determined women will discover the charming and historical city of Lausanne. The city, bordered by Lake Geneva, has a very unique cachet and each district its own vibe: on the squares and pedestrian streets of the old city centre, one will feel the warm and friendly atmosphere, whilst the Flon district vibrates to the rhythm of the night. And we haven’t even touched the subject of local gastronomy…
A taste of the Pop In Lausanne’s challenges
Like professional navigators between land and lake, Popins will attempt to find their way in the middle
of this maze of steep streets and learn how to navigate on Geneva Lake aboard the boat of pirates. They
will also meet passionate craftsmen, shout the hours from the cathedral bell tower and
try to face the first Swiss skyscraper.
