Awarded 13 points in the GaultMillau, the Nandanam – ‘Gardens of Krishna’ – has opted for the winning formula of using local produce, prepared according to the gastronomy of southern India. Delicately flavoured with coriander, cardamom, saffron or cumin, the fish of Lake Geneva and local meats acquire exotic tastes. This is an original way of enjoying the delights of this restaurant, whose limited menu also includes the essential tandooris and tikka masala.
Every meal finishes sweetly with a dessert. Regulars are often tempted by Indian beers with their meal, while wines from the Canton of Vaud also feature on the menu. At lunchtime, dishes of the day allow you to experience the chef’s expertise at reasonable prices.
The restaurant combines the typical decor of a brasserie with Eastern ornaments. The establishment has recently been extended, yet is regularly full. You are recommended to book a few days in advance, even during the week.
