Sul versante rivolto a sud si trovano il Museo e i Giardini Botanici cantonali che custodiscono 6000 piante del mondo intero. Ai piedi della collina, si apre la Place de Milan, spazio verde dotato di un grande prato, bacini d'acqua e giochi didattici per bambini.
