The legendary saxophonist Kenny Garrett, former partner of Miles Davis, returns to the Romandy region after a long absence with his project Sounds from the Ancestors. This project pays tribute to the figures who have influenced the American artist since his beginnings and throughout a vast career that has impacted several generations of musicians. It also highlights how the saxophonist has remained open to various music styles such as soul, Afro-Cuban music, hip-hop, and African music.
