This inaugural edition makes history with a world first: the integration of para-judo competitions within a Grand Slam, alongside elite events, under the same conditions and on the same stage. A major evolution that embodies a more open, universal and inclusive vision of judo.

Beyond sporting performance, the Lausanne Judo Grand Slam is part of a strong strategic ambition: to sustainably establish Lausanne as a stronghold of world judo, through an international cycle 2026-2029, with the aim of hosting the World Judo Championships.

At the crossroads of sporting excellence, innovation and inclusion, Lausanne is laying the foundations for a new standard for world judo.

United by Judo.
