L'Eclair + Fred Bürki_78

More info

Fred Bürki_78 marks a new chapter in the artistic practice of drummer Fred Bürki. After over fifteen years of collaboration with artists across various musical landscapes such as Eli Zoé, Baby Volcano, and Sirens of Lesbos, he now pursues a more personal artistic voice. With 78, he develops a unique artistic language combining drums, electronics, improvisation, and performance.

Since their 2021 album "Confusions," L'Eclair has developed a very personal and original sound blending 70's funk and groove with a touch of psychedelic and lunar keyboards. Their latest album, "Cloud Drifter," pushes the experience further with several dancefloor hits energizing their live performances.

The Geneva-based group has gained recognition overseas, signing with the Innovative Leisure label, known for discovering the iconic BADBADNOTGOOD. The comparison between the two groups is relevant: both appeal to a youth eager for groove and whose stylistic boundaries have long disappeared. L'Eclair now performs more frequently in the United States than in Europe or Switzerland, where their appearances are rare. This concert at Les Jumeaux will be their only date in Romandy in 2026.
