MARIA JOSÉ LLERGO (ES)

Contemporary flamenco

María José Llergo is recognized as one of the most unique voices in contemporary flamenco. Originating from Pozoblanco, a rural village in the province of Córdoba, she draws from the deep roots of flamenco to blend them with modern and urban sounds, delivering a rare emotional intensity. Revealed by A Colors Show in 2021, she became the face of Loewe the following year alongside Rossy de Palma. Her latest album, Ultrabelleza, was ranked by Rolling Stone among the 50 best Spanish-language albums of 2023. A powerful and decidedly current voice.

LÉA MARTINEZ (CH)

Resourceful and self-taught, Léa Martinez has always been surrounded by music in various forms. She shaped her musical identity through experiences with artists as a photographer, technician, and lighting engineer. Her first EP, Threshold, released this year by Humus Records, evokes vast, arid plains stretching endlessly, where her seemingly fragile voice slowly makes its way to be heard. Léa Martinez takes time to set the scene, giving substance to her songs and drawing listeners into her universe tinged with rock, blues, and folk.
