Rania Yasmine, Poligone, Piotr, Ash the Ash and LePhare perform in succession for an evening blending jazz, pop, rock, electronic music and experimentation. Five projects from Romandy, five universes, five ways of inhabiting the stage.



20:00: Rania Yasmine (Soul / Hip-Hop / Afro, VD)

Rania Yasmine, a Swiss artist of Tunisian and Dominican origins, fuses soul, R&B, afrobeat and jazz into a free and modern music. Rejecting labels, diversity is her strength. Her engaged lyrics, carried by a captivating voice, explore love, resilience and injustice. Her first EP Ubuntu (June 13, 2025) embodies unity in plurality, a manifesto of a multiple and authentic artist.



20:40: Poligone (Indie Pop, VD)

Poligone is an indie pop duo navigating between dark and bright atmospheres. Their songs tell stories of promises, dreams, revenges filled with magic and raw truths. On electronic and dance productions, calm always returns to give way to softness and enchanting poetry. Like a refuge after the storm, Poligone captures the gentle brutality of life.



21:20: Piotr (Rap, VD)

Piotr, a Lausanne-based artist and rapper, defines his approach by the meeting of sincere writing and integral practice. He embodies deep rap where text and music assert and respond with power. On stage, each performance becomes an intense adventure marked by raw energy and complex musicality. Piotr subtly transforms his rap into an immersive and electrifying experience.



22:00: Ash the Ash (LoFi Rock, VD/GE)

Ash the Ash is a Lausanne indie rock band led by the deep voice of Asher Varadi and the interventions of Lise Perrier. Their sound combines power and finesse. After a noted first album, Ash the Ash has established itself as a reference on the Romandy indie scene. Their latest EP released in October 2025, preceded by the eponymous single Take It, was unveiled in June.



22:40: LePhar (Electro / Tech-house, FR)

LePhar, aka Raphaël Schwartz, began piano at age 7 before opening to hip-hop in 2016 with Lélents then Le Flux (Fribourg rap groups). After attending Gustav Academy in 2020, he discovered electronic production and forged a universe mixing jazz, hip-hop, trap and exotic sounds, between house and experimentation. LePhar invites to a unique musical journey guided by piano and synthesizers.



Nextar

Created by the EJMA Live Foundation, Nextar supports emerging young talents from French-speaking Switzerland through comprehensive and personalized artistic coaching. Since January 2026, Rania Yasmine, Poligone, Piotr, Ash the Ash and LePhar - the second cohort of the program - have benefited from tailored guidance alongside emblematic and influential figures of the music industry.



Artistic coaching, communication, fundraising, career development: key themes addressed to help them reach a new stage in their professional journey. The highlight of this coaching year is an intensive week of workshops and mentoring culminating in a public showcase evening on October 8, 2026 at the Jumeaux Jazz Club in Lausanne.
