More info

Niño de Elche is one of the most innovative artists on the contemporary Spanish scene, known for collaborations with Israel Galvan, Angélica Liddell, Rocio Molina, and Raül Refree. He creates a fruitful dialogue between Spanish tradition, avant-garde, and subversion. He challenges the conservatism inherent in flamenco by promoting an experimental and evolving art form. His new album "Cante a lo gitano" celebrates the repertoire left by the legendary gypsy singer Manuel Torre (1880-1933). He will be accompanied by Andalusian guitarist Emilio Caracafé.

LAUSANNE MÉDITERRANÉES

Andalusia is highlighted at the 7th edition of Lausanne Méditerranées, held from September 25 to October 11. This event promotes interculturality and strengthens ties between Lausanne and Mediterranean countries or regions. Two weeks of exchange and culture offer the opportunity to discover southern Spain through shows, concerts, films, conferences, literature, gastronomy, a crafts market, workshops, and festive moments.
