In the heart of the Games – A marathon of emotions

The space dedicated to the Olympic spirit in the permanent exhibition has a new look et will welcome you from 22 December in an even more immersive environment with even more interactivities!
The fully renovated space invites visitors to experience the Olympic spirit as close to the athletes as possible, and to realize that it is above all a philosophy of live conveyed by Olympians around the world before, during and after the Games. This floor immerses you in the heart of an Olympic Village to measure and meet the athletes’ quest for excellence.

This universe highlights the implications of the IOC outside the Games in a multiple areas such as: athletes, health, youth, weak communities, the future of cities and the Games’ legacy.

The proposed experience on this floor echoes the other spaces of the permanent exhibition. At The Olympic Museum, learning is about having fun and experimenting. We do everything we can to trigger interest and spark action. More than ever, scientific and cultural endeavour play a part in the Games, strengthening their influence in the modern world.

Relive great Olympic moments, feel the pulse of the champions, discover the creative flair of the host cities, share the enthusiasm of all volunteers behind the scenes. The world of the Games with its many facets will open up to you.
