Where to go out in Lausanne ?

The new jazz club “Les Jumeaux” is located in a well-known warehouse in the Flon District. This club, which also serves as a bar, has a capacity for up to 300 people. “Les Jumeaux” welcomes musicians of jazz and other styles, both from Switzerland and further abroad.

The Hype is a new clubbing address in Lausanne. Located in the town centre, the club is made famous by the many events it organises. French Rap artists such as SCH, DjaDja & Dinaz, Ninho as well as Koba LaD have showcased there.

The U Bar, aka Urban Bar, is located in the heart of Lausanne. This bar dedicated to urban music plays several styles such as Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Soul as well as Funk. It currently welcomes many DJs for memorable nights. Don’t forget, entrance is free.

One of the most popular concert venues in Lausanne, Les Docks is located in the Sévelin area, near Le Flon. This huge but intimate concert hall features all contemporary music genres, including rock, hip-hop, funk and folk, as well as exhibitions.

Laid out in authentic cellars of the 13th century in the heart of the city. Vaults, stone walls and leather armchairs give it a convivial, intimate atmosphere.

The establishment is a disco bar and boasts a stage large enough to hold concerts. This spacious venue is decorated with second-hand furniture and items. It gets very crowded on Fridays and Saturdays. Open from Thursday to Saturday, free admission.

The programme features unconventional music and nights out: everyone can play their own music at the “Wednesday Jukebox”, the “Impro Show Clubs” get the crowd laughing one Thursday a month, the “Vinyl Lives” on Fridays introduce us to the top local acts, there is dancing all night long on the “Vinyl DJs” evenings, and dance lessons, a workshop or a jam session are held one Sunday a month.
