Lila, the local journalist

Every week, I travel the French-speaking part of Switzerland to meet innovative women farmers, passionate local artisans, creative female Chefs and environmentally - engaged gardeners. As a journalist for the Terre&Nature magazine, which has been celebrating agriculture, local produce, and Swiss traditions for over 150 years, I take great pride in sharing the stories of those who both preserve and reshape our country’s culinary heritage. When I’m not on the road, I’m enjoying life in Lausanne, my adoptive home for nearly a decade, where vibrant restaurants, cozy cafés, charming guinguettes, and lively markets all thrive in harmony with the local ecosystem.
« Rare are the regions where town and country are so close. Around Lausanne, many farms produce fresh, healthy and creative dishes. From pak choï through café de lupin to Vaud tofu and local soy sauce, there's something for everyone. Combining sustainability and delicious food has never been so easy! »
