Sports administration

Delighted and proud to have been recognised by the International Olympic Committee and awarded the prestigious title of Olympic Capital, Lausanne has become the global centre for sports administration. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS) and forty international organisations set up here to run the Olympic Movement whose achievements can be seen at the Olympic Museum, a unique attraction on the global stage.

A strategic location

Officially opened in 2006, the Maison du Sport International (MSI) brings half of these organisations together under one roof. Lausanne, the Canton of Vaud and Switzerland are pleased to welcome visitors who wish to make the most of this unique strategic location and enjoy such close proximity to practically every stakeholder in international sport.
