Amélie, a shy young waitress with a vivid imagination, discovers an unexpected way to transform the lives of others. Following her intuition and imagination, she embarks on a series of small secret missions across the city, all the while trying, without really knowing it, to give meaning to her own.
In this Swiss production - the show's French-language world premiere - students from EJMA's intensive musical theatre course, accompanied by a live orchestra and coached by several showbiz professionals from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, bring these iconic characters to life.
The sets, designed in collaboration with the CEPV in Vevey, add a strong, poetic visual dimension to Amélie's world, combining creativity and expertise.
