« My music is a meditation on my past and a reflection on our present. It is a message both personal and political exploring the liberation of Black people and women, love gained and love lost. It is strongly influenced by Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Dub; experiences of ancestors, women, and myself are channeled to conjure these emotions. »

In 2017, London-based singer and rapper Summer Pearl collaborated with producer Eva Solaris on a project titled Sol Tempo, releasing two singles "Green Eyes" (reissued by Summer Pearl in 2022) and "Daughter of the Prophet".

In 2019, Summer Pearl released her first EP, "Only Child".

Her powerful, committed, and festive universe makes her one of the most unique voices on the current international scene.
