Current archaeological discoveries in the canton of Vaud. The exhibition presents archaeological objects recently found in Moudon, Chavannes-près-Renens, Grandson, Bex and the Baulmes region, during excavations carried out under the aegis of the Cantonal Archaeology Department. Most of the objects on display have been cleaned and stabilised by the MCAH's conservation-restoration laboratory.

"Spring 2026 Collections" takes you on a voyage of discovery of recently excavated archaeological sites in the canton of Vaud, offering you a real journey through the history of the area. The objects on display (vases, coins, tools, ornaments, decorations, keys or weapons) testify to a highly diverse occupation, with dwellings, crafts, tombs and fortifications. The oldest objects on display date from the Bronze Age (2200-800 BC).
