The breweries of Lausanne

Founded in 1997, the Brasserie du Château is the first artisanal brewery in Lausanne. Both a pizzeria and a brew pub, the focus has always been on friendliness and sharing. Developing and modernizing its recipes over the years, the beers are just how we like to drink them: local, light, and refreshing!

A dynamic neighbourhood brasserie with well thought through decoration. From the kitchen come varied dishes at lunchtime, while the evening menu focuses on local products and wines, and changes every month.
That little extra from the food insider "ChicandSwiss": this brasserie has received the “Café historique de Lausanne” (“Lausanne Historical Café”) label and offers a pleasant shady terrace.
Favourite dish: the entrecôte Parisienne (ribeye steak)

Ideally located halfway between the Cathedral and Place de la Riponne, The Great Escape is a bar where you can meet up with friends for apéro or watch a football or rugby match.
