From Lausanne train station, board the train with your guide and head into the heart of Lavaux’s terraced vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007.
Set off on a guided walk through the vineyards and villages of Lavaux, discovering this exceptional landscape shaped by generations of winegrowers. Among stone walls, wine-growing villages and spectacular views over Lake Geneva, your guide will share the history, traditions and unique characteristics of this iconic wine region.
The tour continues at a local winery with a tasting of Lavaux wines, with or without a platter of local specialities, allowing you to savour the flavours of this remarkable terroir.

Start and end point
The guided tour in Lavaux starts and ends at Lausanne train station.
It is also possible to start the tour directly from a hotel in Lausanne. This option adds 30 minutes to the duration of the tour, as well as a surcharge of CHF 40 per guide. If you would like to choose this option, please indicate your preferred hotel in the “Remarks” field when making your booking. We will then contact you to confirm the details and finalise your request.
Duration
The tour lasts four hours and thirty minutes, including the return train journey, the guided tour and the wine tasting at a local winery.
Price
The tour costs CHF 440 per guide. The return train journey is not included in the tour price. However, if you have a Lausanne Transport Card, your train journey is free of charge.
As an optional extra, you can add a tasting of three glasses of wine at a local winemaker’s estate for CHF 27 per person, accompanied by savory snacks, or CHF 35 per person for a mixed platter of regional cheese and cured meats. You can select your preferred option when making your reservation.
