Places under the aegis of Mozart, this Lausanne rendez-vous brings to light a vibrant dialogue between contemporary creation and the Béjartian heritage. Carried by the presence of the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne and the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, gathered on stage alongside three soloists, the performances take on a rare musical dimension, where dance and live music respond to one another with power and emotion.

The evening opens with “Lux Æterna”, a creation by Étienne Béchard. Set within a scenography evoking a train station, a place of passage, the piece captures those suspended moments where trajectories cross and everything can shift: a departure, a wait, a decision. Carried by the power of Mozart’s Requiem, the work will traverse with intensity the tensions that inhabit us, between stillness and movement.

In echo, Maurice Béjart’s “Mozart Tangos” unfolds the full richness of his choreographic language. The purity of pointe work, carried by Mozart’s music, enters in dialogue with the carnal power of Argentine tangos, embodied by male dancers.
