After captivating audiences with Gad Elmaleh, the cult comedy "The Invitation" returns in a new version full of freshness, energy, and laughter.

Led by a popular duo, Frédéric Chau (Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait au Bon Dieu? – 12.4 million admissions) and Guy Lecluyse (Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis – 20.5 million admissions, the biggest success in French cinema history), this tour is one of the major theatrical events of the year.

Synopsis: Daniel is a married man who longs for some freedom. To take a break without guilt, he invents an imaginary friend, Charlie, whom he claims to visit regularly. But when his wife insists on meeting this Charlie, Daniel finds himself trapped. He hires a stranger, lost, unpredictable, and overly comfortable, to play the role. However, Charlie quickly takes control of the lie, turning everything upside down.

A hilarious duo, a jubilant game of manipulation, a sharp critique of appearances and the flaws of couples. A modern and joyful comedy about relationships, appearances, and truth.

Le Figaro – "A brilliantly orchestrated closed setting, devastating humor, and a brilliant initial idea. The audience laughs from start to finish."

Télérama – "There is much laughter, but also reflection. A fine and cruel text on appearances."
