Since 1803, it’s the custom for the City of Lausanne to sell wine from its vineyards during an auction that takes place on the second Saturday of December. It’s a unique opportunity to purchase lots from the historical range of wines produced by the City of Lausanne’s Estates. This event is listed as a Vaud intangible cultural heritage since 2014 and bears the Lausanne à Table label.

Wines from the 2024 harvest from the five Lausanne estates will be put up for auction “en primeur” to give wine lovers the opportunity to purchase lots of 24 to 120 bottles that will be available at the beginning of May 2025.

If you can’t be present, you can take part in the virtual auction, where you can also order lots at a set price as from December 16, 2024.
