Since 1803, it’s the custom for the City of Lausanne to sell wine from its vineyards during an auction that takes place on the second Saturday of December. It’s a unique opportunity to purchase lots from the historical range of wines produced by the City of Lausanne’s Estates. This event is listed as a Vaud intangible cultural heritage since 2014 and bears the Lausanne à Table label.

Wines from the 2025 harvest from the five Lausanne estates will be put up for auction “en primeur” to give wine lovers the opportunity to purchase lots of 24 bottles or more, that will be available in spring 2026.

If you can’t be present, the wines on offer can be purchased online from mid-December to the end of January.
