Chailly is not the most dynamic part of Lausanne but this ice cream has definitely changed the way I look at my neighbourhood. Sesame, matcha, fior di latte, ooooh, I’m melting. In my humble opinion, this is the best ice cream (light and refreshing instead of overly creamy!) in Lausanne.

At the LABO gelateria, owner and founder Malou combines the texture of the Italian ice cream of her childhood with flavours inspired by Asia, where she originated from. And the combination has been an overwhelming success, since this sweet blend gives birth to some amazing flavours: ginger, black sesame and matcha, for example, simply must be sampled. For the more classic palates, her vanilla, chocolate and pistachio will make you fall head over heels in love! Head for the Chailly district to taste them all.
