Palud square

HeritageShopping
In the centre of the square is the town’s oldest fountain, adorned with a statue representing justice. Close by, a clock presents the history of Vaud in animated scenes every hour from 9:00 to 19:00. On Wednesday and Saturday mornings this is the site of the country market, which also sets up shop in the neighbouring pedestrian streets. Every first Friday of the month, it plays host to a craft market. Typical cafes, boutiques and large, elegant shops complement what this high-class district, which is completely pedestrianised, has to offer.

More info

In Les Jardins de PAM, you can enjoy an Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, accompanied with signature cocktails, with 360 degrees view of Lausanne.

Les Jardins de PAM consists of three gardens. The Mediterranean garden, on the rooftop, is a perfect place to be on sunny days. The indoor restaurant, with an aquatic garden, is a cozy dining place (coming soon). Finally, you can disappear into the jungle of the late-night bar (coming soon).

Les Jardins de PAM is a fresh place in Lausanne that reopened in June 2021. Here you will find yourself surrounded by nature and 360 degrees view of the city. At the same time, you can enjoy signature cocktails accompanied by a Mediterranean/Asian tapas menu developed by two chefs. Lunch is serve every weekday from 12pm to 2pm, so you can enjoy an outdoor meal in an unusual atmosphere.

If you are wondering who/what is PAM, come and experience yourself the Perchoir (Perch), the Abreuvoir (Drinker) and the Mangeoire (Manger). Indeed, the concept is revolving around nature and partially the inspiration for that was the rooftop which is located in a building that with its architecture resembles a bird's nest.
