More info

The Manufacture is a meeting place for the exchange of good practice. Students on different courses, practitioners, artists, researchers and tutors all work on one and the same site.

The course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in drama is centred on training in acting. In 2011, the Manufacture opened up professional training to include technical professions in the performing arts, followed in 2012 by a master's degree in drama with the emphasis on production. The final strand delivered by the school is the first of its kind in Switzerland: a Bachelor of Arts in contemporary dance. This is offered in collaboration with Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), and in partnership with P.A.R.T.S in Brussels and the University of Berne. This means that the Manufacture is the only francophone school to provide higher education in dance and drama on the same site.
