Plage de Vidy (Vidy beach)

Also known as the Louis Bourget Park beach, Vidy beach is the largest beach and green space on Lake Geneva. Several small coves dot the shoreline, while the main beach features over 500 metres of sand.
Louis Bourget Park, located between the lake and the forest, is an ideal spot for picnics with family and friends. You can walk, cycle or rollerblade along the path that follows the shore of the lake. The park also offers a view of the IOC headquarters.

In summer, the beach, park and extensive grassy areas are among the most lively places on the lake. It’s perfect whether you want to go for a swim in the lake, play an impromptu game of football, hire a standup paddleboard or pedal boat, or simply take a short jog surrounded by peaceful greenery.

Showers, public toilets and a playground are available.
