Opened on 8 September 2012, Praz-Séchaud – Les Boveresses sports centre is situated alongside the football pitches at the top of Avenue des Boveresses. Borne out of a mutual listening process between residents and municipal service providers, this sports centre effectively complements the local leisure facilities and provides a meeting place for this district's particularly young population.

Constructed in wood in compliance with “Minergies Eco” standards, its changing rooms are reserved for members of the FC Boveresses football club, founded in 2007. A football school (E-F-D-C-B), two adult teams and a women's team together have around 220 members, including 180 active members (2015 statistics).
