More info
Initiated by the City of Lausanne’s Sports Department and supported by various players from the local sports’ world, a new offer of sports activities has been made available as from April 2022 and for four years in the North Halls (Halls 9 to 14 and 16). This new hub of Lausanne sports houses a bloc bouldering climbing centre of over 2,000 m2 managed by the company Grimper.ch, a 100% padel centre (padel is a new racket sport) managed by Urban Padel, a pétanque pitch with 12 gravel lanes as well as a basketball arena managed jointly by Swiss Basketball and Lausanne-Sport 3x3.

Other sports activities such as weightlifting and bodybuilding or roller sports (roller derby, roller-skating, longboard dancing, roller dancing, skateboard) will complete the offer by autumn 2022. Ideally located in the town centre, this very diverse offer creates a new synergy between the various disciplines and promotes their discovery and access for a broad public. It is the concrete result of the City of Lausanne’s policy regarding the development of sports practised in associations as well as the promotion of sports and physical activity for all.
