Located in the heart of Lausanne, a short walk from the SBB station, PLATEFORME 10 is a cultural site unique in Switzerland, bringing together three major cantonal museums: the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts (MCBA), the Cantonal Museum of Design and Contemporary Applied Arts (mudac) and the Cantonal Museum of Photography (Photo Elysée). A must for art lovers and culture buffs alike.

If you were to take a helicopter flight over these nine hectares of green space, located to the south of Lausanne railway station, you might summarily describe it as a vast grassy square (Place de Milan) with a steep mound (Montriond Hill).

A breathtaking view over the mountains, lake and boats reveals itself to you if you sit on a bench in Elysée Park. It’s my favourite place when the weather is sunny, especially when the cherry trees are in blossom. It’s one of the best spots to enjoy the panoramic view over Lake Geneva that the town of Lausanne can offer us.
