Cruise on Lake Geneva (CGN)

BusinessCruiseEvent venue
For a romantic or a gourmet cruise or simply to cross Lake Geneva, the ships of the General Navigation Company are a must during your vacation in Switzerland. Embark at Lausanne-Ouchy and travel to one of the forty ports on the Swiss or French shores of Lake Geneva.

It features three sumptuous Lausanne gardens, situated one after the other along the quays: the Denantou, the Elysée, a little further back, and the Olympic Park, but also the rose garden of Place du Général Guisan, which boasts more than 130 different species of rose. Finally, from the CGN landing stages located at the bottom of the Dapples gardens you can embark for a unique cruise over Lake Geneva.

oh Gelato, Gelato - how much taste and happiness are in this word? This tiny gelateria is a hidden gem located right at Ouchy and is a perfect place to indulge yourself with unique flavors of their Gelato. There you can find not only traditional but also Swiss-inspired flavors - Double crème et Meringue, goat cheese with honey, pêche de vigne. Take an ice cream served in a fresh waffle, sit on one of the benches and enjoy the panorama of Lake Leman.

More info

A hint of Italy instantly hits your taste buds when you taste Veneta's delicious ice cream: this is surely because their know-how dates back to 1935, when the family's grandfather decided to devote his life to making artisan ice cream in Tuscany. Today, it is his grandson, Paolo, who has taken over at the lakeside in Ouchy. As for the flavours, you will be enchanted by the salted butter caramel ice cream, the ginger ice cream and the double cream meringue ice cream!
