What to do in Lausanne in February?

During this month of February, we get active and make the most of the seasonal activities by pulling on our ice skates or putting on our skis to glide gracefully towards winter sports. To get toasty and ready to brave the cold, we also take refuge indoors for an enjoyable cultural moment watching a unique show or exhibition.

Our February bucket list

Making the most of a sunny day by heading for the mountains and whizzing down the Leysin slopes

Located 50 kilometres from the Alps, Lausanne can well serve as the starting point for all those who enjoy skiing. We prepared for you a list of possibilities to hit the snowy slopes from the town.

Marvelling at the beauty of a winter sunset in Ouchy

Sunsets are stunning in Lausanne. Come on, follow us as we lead you to the best spots to watch the show (and it’s free).

Going to cheer on the LHC Lions at the Vaudoise Aréna and chanting “Come on Lausanne come on” at the top of our voices

Come and support Lausanne’s very own ice hockey club and see the full fixture list of Lausanne Hockey Club (LHC). You’ll enjoy a great night out among the passionate supporters of Lausanne HC.

(Re)discover the art of Nicolas de Staël at the Fondation de l’Hermitage

The Fondation de l’Hermitage is devoting a major retrospective to one of France’s most important post-war artists: Nicolas de Staël (Saint-Petersburg 1914 – Antibes 1955).
