At the present time it is difficult to know what 2021 has in store for us. But who said that dreaming wasn’t allowed? This is why we have listed for you everything one might hope to do in Lausanne in 2021… Cross your fingers and hope you can complete most of them!

January

1. Get the year off to a good start by organising a snow-ball fight at the Chalet-à-Gobet

2. Eat a fondue in one of the Café du Grütli’s telecabins (Rue Mercerie 4)

3. Take the time to explore the galleries in the Flon district

25. Meet up with old friends and make new ones by watching the street performances during the Festival de la Cité (from 6 to 11 July 2021)

26. Experience something unusual by watching the World Pétanque Championships (and pretend that you really come from Marseille) (from 15 to 18 July 2021)

27. Fall for the astonishing flavours in one of Lausanne’s gelateria (goat cheese and honey, black sesame, bubble gum etc. etc.)

28. A new experience for you: select your favourite lunch from a take-away and enjoy it on a pedal boat after a quick swim in the crystal-clear water of the lake

29. Drift quietly (but with a certain effort) on the lake during an introductory rowing lesson

30. Pretend to be Rose and Jack during a cruise on Lake Geneva (no icebergs in sight – honest!)
